Does VCFA have reciprocal agreements with other libraries?

We do not have any reciprocal arrangements with other libraries that allow for direct check out of books. Most libraries require that you be a registered library user with their institution. Otherwise they will recommend that you use our VCFA Library Interlibrary Loan service. Many State funded libraries offer free checkouts of books once you have registered with them.

Once you are logged into the VCFA Library Book and Periodicals catalog it is possible to search nearby libraries for materials that will be on their shelves. Click HERE for a link that shows an example.
