Create Perfectly Formatted Bibliographies in Hundreds of Styles Using RefWorks

RefWorks creates bibliographies by downloading citations from VCFA Library databases into personal databases. The output can be formatted in hundreds of different styles including MLA, APA and Chicago Manual of Style formats.

The first step is to create your own personal account by clicking HERE and following the "New to RefWorks- Sign up for a New Account" instructions.

If you want, download the "Cite-N-Write" application and use an abbreviated version of RefWorks within your word processor to automatically include properly formatted footnotes and references from your personal bibliography as you write. RefWorks output styles include MLA, Chicago, APA, Turabian and hundreds of others. To see an overview of the capabilities click HERE

The link included above will authenticate you as a member of the VCFA community. However, it is still necessary to create a personal account within RefWorks to have the privacy of a personal bibliographic database that only you will use.
